Who does Apple think Fitness+ is for?

Jonny Evans

Watching Apple since 1999. I don't say what they should do. I say what they might do. They sometimes do.

Funny, but so far I’ve found the opposite to be true. While I’m relatively fit (blessing my genes, not my exercise regime!), I started my trial with the series for beginners -I think there’s around 7 of them across the different exercise types- and had to push myself to continue them and not skip over them. In my late 50s, I could see them as a reasonable starting point for many; and there’s nothing wrong with taking a week (or more) to get comfortable with any of them. I think a biggie will be how they develop/offer a sequential guide for (all) the different fitness levels of (all) new users. I’m taking the trial period for what it is and still doing my ‘semi-regular’ scheduled exercise routine, but augmenting it with my exploration of Fitness+. This will likely determine what level of Apple One that I settle in on.
