Watch Apple’s brilliant new movie promoting accessibility across its products

Accessibility matters to Apple, which is why it builds accessibility features into all its products and has been celebratingits 40-year history of doing so all this year. Accessibility is also the theme of the latest amusing but resonant Apple film.
You’re not remarkable, just human
The new movie shows how students with disabilities use Apple products and accessibility features in daily life to get the full college experience. It shows how the products Apple makes helps outside of study, helping students get around campus, learn skills, spend time with friends and more.
The film shows fun but real life examples of real world use of features including Voiceover, Magnifier on Mac, Braille Access, Assistive Touch on Apple Watch and iPad, Accessibility Reader, Sound & Name Recognition and Live Captions.
The celebratory music in the video includes performances from a wide range of Deaf and disabled students from around the world, with songwriting and musical production from Tony award-winning composer Tim Minchin.
Apple thinks accessibility is a human right
Apple has always invested in accessibility and disability representation in its creative campaigns, with recent work such as Taika Waititi’s “The Lost Voice,” Paralympic tribute “The Relay,” the 2024 Emmy-nominated holiday campaign “Heartstrings,” and a recent, two-part Parkinson’s docu-style series, “No Frame Missed.” The latest movie is directed by Kim Gehrig, who also directed Apple’s Emmy award-winning accessibility short “The Greatest” in 2022.
