Apple to open first European Apple Developer Center in Berlin

Apple has confirmed plans to open Europe’s first Apple Developer Center in Berlin later this year, a location intended to become a key resource for developers there.
The new location will join Apple’s other Developer Centers in Bengaluru, Cupertino, Shanghai, and Singapore. Situated in the Mitte district in Berlin, the center offers developers throughout Europe access to Apple experts, events, and extensive access to learning resources.
Developers will be able to access in-person sessions, workshops, and one-on-one appointments. There will also be what Apple called a “regular cadence” of developer events, consultation areas, and dedicated labs. Essentially, it means developers attending the Center will be able to get extensive hands-on support from Apple experts in multiple languages.

What Apple said
“Europe is home to an extraordinary community of developers who are building apps that create connections, encourage creativity, and drive innovation,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations.
“We have always believed that when developers have the right tools and resources to do their best work, incredible things follow. That belief is what this center is built on, and we look forward to seeing what the community continues to develop.”
This is just the latest in a long line of investments the company continues to make in its developer community, programmes like the Swift Student Challenge, a network of 19 Apple Developer Academies worldwide, and Apple Foundation Programmes in Italy and France that have supported thousands of developers across Europe.
