Watch: Apple’s latest ad channel ‘The Great Resignation’

In the latest clip, ‘Escape from the Office’, we see the team of four packaging designers quit

As its products hit an ‘inflection point’ for business, Apple has published a rabidly entertaining new video that does a pretty good job showing how its products can benefit business, small business and anyone who dreams of working for themselves.

Apple at Work: The Underdogs

It’s the latest in the Apple at Work series of videos.

The first of these appeared in 2019 while another lockdown edition was published in 2021.

In the latest clip, ‘Escape from the Office’, we see the team of four packaging designers quit their demanding boss, Vivienne, to go work from a garage and change the world.

A nine-minute video sees them hold meetings, hire a web designer, move into an office, play football, arrange calendar dates, and finally reject their old boss when they attempt to buy the company.

It’s a gently entertaining comic spot that does a great job showing how Apple’s solutions can get used to do real work.

It even includes some entertaining moments that show some of the features of Apple Business Essentials for provisioning new team member emails.

On the above, Apple said:

“The Underdogs are back in business — as in, small business. Escaping from their evil boss’s clutches, the team finds out how to spin an idea into a product, and a product into a company.

“It’s a journey fraught with email and conference calls and birthday cakes and ballet recitals. Hires from halfway around the world, and a 14-year-old that just might take over the world. And a garage with an odor that — well, you get the picture.”
