Apple Creator Studio gets major updates

Apple has introduced major updates to Apple Creator Studio, its bundle of creative apps for Mac, iPad, and iPhone, adding new AI features and deeper integration across apps.
Final Cut Pro gets on-device AI tools including Generate Captions (auto-transcription with style customization) and Edit Detection (automatically splits rendered video back into original clips).
Mac users also get Auto Mask for isolating footage elements, improved Match Color, and Advanced Trimming. Final Cut Camera (the companion iPhone/iPad app) adds Clean HDMI Out and expanded ProRes support.

Pixelmator Pro integration is a big theme: users can now open and edit images directly from Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Final Cut Pro inside Pixelmator Pro, with changes syncing back automatically. Pixelmator Pro also gains AI image generation and a curated “Content Hub” of design assets.
Shape generation (natural-language vector shape creation) is now available across Pixelmator Pro, Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and (coming with iOS/iPadOS/macOS 27) Freeform.
Logic Pro gets a rebuilt, more accurate Chord ID, a new “Producer Project” featuring a full session breakdown of a Grammy-winning producer’s track, granular sync mode in the Alchemy synth, and expanded Beat Breaker features.
Other app updates: Keynote gets new transitions/builds, Pages adds Auto-Hyphenate and Show Invisibles, Numbers adds sheet hiding/color-coding, and Freeform (with iOS/iPadOS/macOS 27) adds Dark Mode and folders.
Pricing: Free update for existing subscribers; new subscribers pay $12.99/month or $129/year (one-month free trial; three months free with a new Mac/iPad purchase). Education pricing is $2.99/month or $29.99/year. Individual apps remain available as one-time purchases (Final Cut Pro $299.99, Logic Pro $199.99, Pixelmator Pro $49.99, etc.), and Keynote/Pages/Numbers/Freeform stay free.
Most new AI features require Apple silicon or recent A-series chips and current OS versions (iOS/iPadOS/macOS 26 or later for AI features).
