MacBook Neo returns to top of Amazon laptop charts

Demand for Apple’s low-cost laptop doesn’t appear to be dwindling. The computer briefly slipped to second place on Amazon’s top-selling laptops chart in the US, but has once again seized the lead according to a spot check this morning.
The news comes as IDC declares the company managed to sell 1.1 million units of the incredibly popular device in just twenty days.
This shouldn’t be seen in isolation, as Apple is also enjoying very healthy sales of its MacBook Air and recently-revitalised with new processors, MacBook Pro models. Cumulatively, IDC claims Apple shifted 2.55 million of these three Mac models inside just twenty days in March.

“MacBook Neo shipments have come in better than expected, with the 2026 shipment forecast raised from 5 million to 10 million units,” said Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Apple currently holds six of the top ten biggest-selling laptop places in Amazon’s chart, suggesting demand for its laptops has never been higher, even as competitors attempt to reclaim an industry dominance I believe has been lost forever as Apple hits the iPod moment for the Mac.
This isn’t a high point, it’s a new beginning.
