Jamf reaches UK Apple in the enterprise deal with Exclusive Networks

A slice of new that may be of interest to Apple enterprise professionals in the UK: global cybersecurity firm Exclusive Networks has reached a new partnership with MDM/security leader, Jamf. The arrangement means Exclusive Networks will begin offering Jamf to its Apple clients.
What they said
Marc Botham, Global Vice President of Channel and Alliances at Jamf, said: “The UK and Ireland are key markets where we’ve experienced strong growth to date and see incredible opportunities for the future.”
“At a time when IT and security teams are being overwhelmed by complexity within their organisations and users are demanding consumer-like simplicity, Jamf’s enterprise-grade Apple device security solutions offer the ideal balance between enterprise security and user simplicity,” said Rob Tomlin, Vice President Northern Europe.
What it means
The alliance is aimed at Exclusive Networks channel partners across the UK and Ireland, who will now be able to provide their enterprise customers with solutions from Jamf as well as their own.
This matters because enterprise adoption of Apple products is accelerating everywhere, including in the UK. There’s a growing understanding of the productivity, cost, and security benefits of migrating to Apple’s platforms; this understanding comes even as Microsoft is giving business users a great opportunity to choose a new direction as it forces them to upgrade their Windows 10 devices.
The new partnership will enable channel partners across the UK and Ireland to capitalise on this pent up market demand.
