Apple updates its leadership pages
As the sun rises on a new morning and new Apple CEO, John Ternus, Apple has updated its leadership page to reflect the changes. The changes put the new CEO at the top of the page while former boss, Tim Cook, takes a seat on the company board.

Apple also made a second change, confirming the departure of Katherine Adams, former SVP Government Affairs, from Apple’s board. That departure was announced last December, and her role is being filled by Jennifer Newstead.
Former CFO, Luca Maestri has also been removed from the new leadership page, while new profile images of the nine-strong board of directors have been introduced. It is also noteworthy that VP Corporate Development, Adrian Perica, no longer appears on the leadership page, though nothing has been announced.
Other changes, the leadership page includes a new image of new Executive Chair, Tim Cook with an extensive bio to match. The bio entry for Apple Fellow, Phil Schiller has also been updated to reflect that he no longer leads the App Store or Apple Events, responsibility for which has passed to Eddy Cue and Apple PR, respectively.
What Apple now says about John Ternus
Apple has also updated the bio for new CEO, John Ternus. While elements of the new bio remains the same, updated info tells us:
“John joined Apple’s product design team in 2001 and became a vice president of Hardware Engineering in 2013. He joined the executive team in 2021 as senior vice president of Hardware Engineering. Throughout his tenure at Apple, John has overseen hardware engineering work on a variety of groundbreaking products and was instrumental in the introduction of multiple new product lines, including iPad and AirPods, as well as many generations of products across iPhone, Mac, and Apple Watch.
“John has led much of the company’s focus in areas like reliability and durability, introducing new techniques that have made Apple products remarkably resilient. He has also driven much of Apple’s innovation in materials and hardware design that have reduced the carbon footprint of its products, including the creation of a new recycled aluminum compound that has been introduced across multiple product lines, the use of 3D-printed titanium in Apple Watch Ultra, and advancements in reparability that have increased the life spans of several Apple products.”
