Withings has introduced two ground-breaking iPhone-compatible blood pressure monitoring systems, BPM Core and BPM Connect.

Now owned by Nokia, Withings leads in digital health – it’s Health/iPhone-compatible scales remain hugely popular. The company says its new devices make monitoring overall heart health and identifying issues early much easier.

This is the first over-the-counter device able to measure blood pressure, record an electrocardiogram (ECG) and listen to the heart via a digital stethoscope in one device.
These technologies go several steps further than Apple Watch as they allow the users to detect serious conditions from home that are often underdiagnosed or missed, such as atrial fibrillation and valvular diseases.
In addition, its digital stethoscope listens for heart abnormalities to provide early detection of valvular heart disease, characterized by damage to one of the four heart valves that may require surgical intervention.
It can transact all its measurements inside 90-seconds.
BPM Core is now available in Europe exclusively in Apple Stores and online at Apple.com and Withings.com. It will become available in the U.S. during Q3, following FDA clearance.

Withings BPM Connect
This is an updated version of the classic Withings BPM. It now features an LED display and advanced sync options that make taking, viewing and sharing cardiovascular readings simpler than ever.
BPM Connect is available in both the U.S. and Europe today at Apple Stores, Apple.com, Withings.com, and additional retail partners. It costs $99.95/€99.95/£89.95.

For both BPM Core and BPM Connect, systolic and diastolic value, and heart rate can be shared and retrieved on Apple Health.
