Mosyle intros web filtering security tool for Apple devices

Schools and enterprises seeking an automated web filtering and encryption product can now use a recently introduced Encrypted Domain Name System (DNS) Filtering & Security Solution for Apple products from Mosyle.

The company claims this to be the market’s first offering built to automate web filtering and encryption exclusively on Apple endpoints. The solution is the latest addition to the company’s expanding portfolio of MDM and security solutions for Apple systems.

- Maximum Privacy: Mosyle’s solution only leverages DoH (DNS over HTTPS) and DoT (DNS over TLS) protocols to enforce highly efficient filtering controls at the operating system and applications levels with full DNS encryption protecting sensitive information. The solution also gives customers full control of what information is logged.
- Apple First Focus: This combines key web filtering functionality with MDM and endpoint security to deliver a proven Apple first offering.
