Get ready for Apple’s big week

Apple has a lot going on this year, and we’re going to learn about the first few introductions next week, when no less than CEO Tim Cook promises lots of excitement in the run up to the company’s fiftieth anniversary on April 1, 2026.
Cook today told us in a Tweet, “A big week ahead. It all starts on Monday morning!”
To begin the month, Apple has already invited selected media luvvies to an Apple Experience in London, New York and Shanghai on March 4 at 9am Eastern.
We all expect these events will see those chosen few given the change to fondle the new Apple ‘stuff’.
This confirms previous reports claiming the company intended to make a batch of product introductions during the week, with at least five introductions to make, including a lower-cost MacBook, the iPhone 17e, and more.
Other potential launches include an M4 iPad Air, an iPad 12 with Apple Intelligence, an M5 MacBook Air – even new pro Macs, HomePod, and studio displays have been speculated upon.
It may be worth thinking about the potential for connected communication devices to be introduce that the event, perhaps including that iPad/HomePod combo people sometimes discuss. That may certainly be the kind of product influencer types may go for.
Whatever is announced watch the launch times, I can easily imagine that Apple would inject the Mac range with M5 processor steroids in time for its 50th birthday. After all, what better way to celebrate the Mac and the company than with the introduction of the fastest and most performance PCs in the world?
