Apple’s Schoolwork app helps make learning personal

Jonny Evans

Watching Apple since 1999. I don't say what they should do. I say what they might do. They sometimes do.

Jonny, Do you have any idea whether Apple ever intends to equip parents who home school their children with the education based tools? It seems to me to be time to do so. What do you think?

I like the concept, but I do see problems promising education focused features to a market like that that in some ways inherently lacks consistent standards, all the same, such powerful tools seem to me to have a clear and positive impact on educational teaching and learning potential. Saying this, I think there’s a big opportunity to deliver even more powerful tools to the home school.

I believe there are associations that home schooling parents can join that help with standards. Seems a shame to lock out the thousands and thousands of home schooling teachers. Then there are small private (religion based) schools like the Mennonites, that, I believe are locked out too–all because they’re not a government based school. Somehow, it just seems wrong.

As always, thank you, Jonny, for replying to my comments. I wonder what my friend @marrathon (My favorite Apple Guy!)thinks and knows about this? (If he can say anything.)
